Yes, I know it's a horrible build that poisons many a newbie warrior against decent 8v8 play.

But I'm still gonna miss it. Why? Here's why...

Anyone else got any paladin anecdotes to share?

they are taking away the paladin??? man i liked that. its was my first ever pvp character. iu actually did pretty well with him in gvg, but he couldnt compare when i got good skills.

I believe they are referring to Anets challenge to the top guilds to come up with and submit a NEW set of pvp templates. Whether these are meant to replace the old set, or add to them I don't know.

I don't see why everyone is hater. In 4v4 a good, and by good I mean no Healing Hands or other stupid spells, paladin is just as good as any other Warrior build.

8v8 is a different story.

Paladin build modded = INVISIABLE

Alot of the prebuilts are pretty good if you mod them a little. For me, for example, I like to use the Mo/E prebuilt. I just change out a few skills and it works perfectly.

During that faction weekend I was with a guild using 6 of the fire nukers with like 2 skills changed on a few of them guild lord ganking

i have no problems with a skilled w/mo or w/r or whatever, the key word being skilled. but if anyone uses the w/mo newb-build-template, they shouldnt be pvping, because when fighting someone even REMOTLY compitent, you're going to get slaughtered.

the templates are overrall terrible builds that wouldn't really help a new player to get up and try PvP. instead they'd spend more without HP then with.....
